Debbie and Jim Doherty began Bone Appetit Dog Treats from their home kitchen for their late dogs Abby & Izzy. Both Abby and Izzy have crossed the rainbow bridge, but they’re honored forever in our logo.
Bone Appetit quickly went from a home hobby to a favorite treat among Springfield dogs and their owners. From new puppy owners to dogs with food allergies or parents that just want to feel good about what they feed their four-legged friends.
Today, Bone Appetit’s quality control team consists of Savannah, the face of the company, Cora, an 8-year-old Mountain Cur Mix, and 4-year-old Millie.
Treats can now be purchased Saturdays at Farmer’s Market of the Ozarks, in select local retailers, and online. Despite growing demand, each batch of biscuits is shipped within 48 hours of the order and we’re proud to offer reasonable pricing on all of our products.
